Bowling Green, Ky -- The Abdulai family is from Liberia. They are political refugees who escaped a terrible and bloody civil war in western Africa. In the beginning I wanted to follow the mom or dad to understand their new hopes and dreams since migrating to Kentucky. But what I discovered was their eldest son taking advantage of his new life and freedom.
